Method

  1. One drop of toasted sesame oil, no more. It floats, it perfumes the whole glass, and two drops make it a dressing.
  2. Ginger grated and squeezed, honey let down with warm water, lime.
  3. Soda over plenty of ice, stirred once.
  4. The sesame reads as toastiness rather than as sesame, and it gives a zero-proof drink a savory weight that fruit cannot.
