Method

  1. 3 oz Lillet blanc over plenty of ice in a wine glass, with a wide strip of orange peel.
  2. It is wine, so it oxidizes — fridge, and finished inside a month. Most people's Lillet is stale and they blame the drink.
  3. Around seventeen percent, which makes it a genuine aperitif rather than a small cocktail.
  4. Cucumber instead of orange in the summer, and it becomes a different and better drink.
