Method

  1. One drop of toasted sesame oil, floated rather than stirred. Two makes it a dressing.
  2. Smoke and toasted sesame are the same family of flavor, which is why this works and sounds like it should not.
  3. Mezcal over hard ice, lime, then soda down the side.
  4. Salt on the rim. Nutty, smoky and sour all want it.
