Method

  1. Cloudy apple juice, not clear. Clear apple juice has had the flavor filtered out along with the haze.
  2. Grate the ginger and squeeze the juice through your fingers, leaving the fiber behind.
  3. Lemon to stop it being flatly sweet, then soda over ice.
  4. Apple is sweet and low in acid, so it needs both the lemon and the ginger's heat to have any length.
