Method

  1. Equal parts bourbon, green Chartreuse, maraschino and lemon — ¾ oz each. Shake hard, strain up.
  2. The Last Word with bourbon where the gin was, and the whiskey gives the herbs something heavier to sit on.
  3. Do not scale the equal parts up. Three ounces of drink at this strength is already generous.
  4. No garnish, and serve it properly cold — it goes syrupy the moment it warms.
